Recycled or Upcycled Capri pants into new outfit!

I made this outfit from a pair of capris!

I got these capris at a garage sale for $2.00 and they were a size 16.  I thought the fabric was adorable and I could not buy this amount of fabric for $2.00 ANYWHERE!

I made an initial name shirt....$18.  I have a little fabric left.... enough to make some more initial shits.....but not enough for shorts.  I will be happy to tear up some capris or a skirt that you find at Goodwill or a garage sale:-)  I even have saved some of my husband's button down shirts to make some shorts for my son.  Just because it has an ink spot or a hole in it and your hubby won't wear it anymore, doesn't mean your little man can't wear it!!!  Give an article of clothing new life!  (Wow, it sounds like I am running a blood drive!?)

Capris to Ruffle shorts.  I love Landrie's little green outfit.  Thank goodness she is still 4!  If she was 14 she probably would not be caught dead in this outfit:-)

Flip Flop Applique outfit redo!

Above: is a dress that Landrie wore last summer.  She has outgrown it, but I think the fabric is so cute!  So I tore it apart and....
VOILA!
I am not done with the outfit but here is a taste. I have plenty of the yellow and with polka dot fabric, but I have used all of the flip flop fabric.  I think the yellow polka fabric would be adorable for the swimsuit design!  (she wore a yellow pollka dot bikini!)
I love the little initial in the circle on the flip flop.  If you would like this design on a tee shirt, it would be $18 since it is two fabric changes.

Now, I do not have anymore of the flip fop fabric, but I have this fabric.  It reminds me of some Lilly Pulitzer fabric.  FYI:  This is actually a pair of capris...Ladies size 16.  I bought these at a garage sale today and I plan on washing them and then tearing them up to use for something....shorts, a dress, ruffle, applique fabric...who knows where this will show up:-)

Go Green with a monogrammed Grocery Bag - Teacher Gift

This year I am being GREEN and giving these resuable monogrammed grocery bags to my teachers. I plan on cooking something and putting it inside too. I figured these would be a fun little gift to give to the extra people for Christmas like your nursery workers, MDO teachers, babysitters, etc.

The top letters are in Curlz and the bottom are in Fancy script.
The dimensions are: 12" long, 13" tall and 8" wide. The bag even comes with a cardboard bottom to keep it sturdy. These are suppose to hold 2 plastic bags worth of groceries. They are black, but you can pick the color thread. One initial in Curlz or Fancy Script.

$8.00 each or $6.50 when 2 or more are ordered.
