Aquarium Outfits Applique Shark and Dolphin

If you know me, you know I am a shark freak!!!!  Don't call my house during shark week!  (Actually you can, because I have seen most of the shows that they show and now they just repeat them.)  I think I can officially move Shark week of my bucket list....but I can not move scuba diving with sharks off yet.  One day....One day!

Anyway, I did these outfits for my kiddos so we could be styling when we go to the aquarium.  My husband told me that the fish did not care what my kids wore!  Can you believe the nerve!!!!

Outlined in hotpink

Shark on a polo.  I did it large and it wraps around.  Outline in red and both are in turquoise and white striped seersucker.

I just love this outfit!

So which kid is going to accompany momma on the couch to watch shark week!?  I will let you decide....a picture is worth a thousand words!

This little girl can have such a big attitude!!!!

My little Peasants!

Here are a few pictures of my monkeys.  Pam, my seamstress, made Landrie a Peasant dress.
I just love this dress and this fabric.  My favorite color is yellow!  This fabric looked so fresh and clean.

Here is a still shot of the outfits.  I love how they coordinate.  Once they get on the kids, it is hard to get a good shot:-)

This is me holding them still.  My daughter has not mastered the smile skill;-)  She just knows she is suppose to show her teeth!

I have about 15 pictures of them on this swing, and this is the best one I got:-)

This is at my daughter's PreK graduation.  She is going to big girl school next year:-(  So bittersweet!

Gymboree Shorts and Shirts made to match

These shorts came from Gymboree.  Gymboree was having a great sale and a friend was so kind to be my personal shopper, and she picked up a few things for me:-)  Thanks Ashley!
These shorts have little ice cream cones embroidered on them, so I decided to make Landrie a little ice cream shirt to match.

This shirt only has two fabric changes so it is $19.
Another pair of Gymboree shorts.
I did a shirt like this for another friend.  I will post it soon.  The polka dot fabric was ironically lying next to these shorts and it was perfect!

The princess shirt is $18 without the jewels, $20 with the jewels.

The LAMB love me! Easter Sibling Applique Shirts

My little boy sometimes hums to "Mary had a little lamb."  I think I read somewhere that that song is about Jesus.  Now sing it and you can see how that fits!  I wanted to do something different this Easter for my kiddos.  Easter eggs are cute, but I wanted to hit closer to what Easter is about.  I thought this lamb was precious!  Even though my kids are a little young to talk about the sacrificial lamb (but not too young to tell them about Jesus,) maybe someone seeing this shirt will think twice about Easter and how we are free from eternal death because of The Lamb!

The Lamb loves you too!  John 3:16!!!  Can I get an AMEN!!!!

Pinkalicious Cupcake shirt

Pinkalicious, a play, is coming to town!!!! 8 "Girls" are going to see it.  4 little girls are going to wear these shirts.  I think after the play we get to go make cupcakes!  What a fun mommy/daughter event.  I am looking forward to it.

Bow Girl is going to make us matching bows!

Baby, it's COLD outside!!!! Snowglobe with Snow

It does not snow here often, but it does get COLD....a wet cold!  My daughter loves snowglobes:-)  So I made her one and it has SNOW in it!

I took these pictures after I had washed the shirt...so I know the plastic "glass" will hold up.  I can do an applique of a snowman or something else other than a snowflake inside the globe.  I think this would be cute for Valentine's and put heart confetti inside.

These are pants I bought last year after Christmas for dirt cheap!  I made this shirt to match.  Love this little outfit.

Wild Thing needs to give MOM a little peace for Valentine's Day!

No doubt my little one is her father's daughter!  She is WILD....or 4!?  I thought this was fun for Valentine's day....and can be used for later too.  This is a great design that can be worn all the time!

This shirt is $18.
I found this tutu at Wal-Mart!  They had it in other colors too!  Light pink, purple, etc. Landrie already has some black tights that she will wear with this!

Disney Animal Kingdom Outfit and patches

I made these patches for my kiddos this summer and just love them!  Especially for my little boy, because he gets his shirt dirty so fast!  I can take the patch off, and put a new patch on for a whole different outfit!  Also, I can put the patch on a short sleeve button shirt too.  And when he grows out of the shirt, I can make a bigger shirt, and use the patch on that shirt!

I made my daughter a patch shirt too!

These are what the patches look like.  They have button holes in the corner.

The patches button onto the shirt.
This was Judson's Animal Kingdom outfit, even though we did not step foot into Animal Kingdom!

Fancy Nancy Birthday Party! Landrie is 4!

I had so much fun planning Landrie's Fancy Nancy Party!  However, I learned a BIG lesson.  Next year, I think we are just going to have her party at a jumpy place!  That way I don't have to worry about cleaning my house and then cleaning it again after the party is over.  You just show up and then leave!

We had a great time anyway!  Here are a few pictures of what we did.  If you are planning on having a Fancy Nancy party....I have a ton of clip art and designs.  Just email me, and I can send them to you in a powerpoint document!

We started off playing mannequin freeze dance!  I had a friend of mine be "Mrs. Devine."  She did a great job entertaining the kids and keeping the party going.  And I got to enjoy the party!

Then we played pass the Posh Puppy.  Like Hot Potato.

This is very homemade, but we played pin the crown on Fancy Nancy.

Christine Trumps made this cake!  So cute:-)

We also had a Parfait "Barr."  Barr is my last name:-)
I got these paper butterfly wings from Oriental Trading.  I spray painted them purple and got some stick on jewels and stickers.

The girls really enjoyed this activity.

Then we did a pull string pinata.

And the fight for the loot is on.  I put some candy and Mardi Gras beads in it!

Here is a banner I made in powerpoint.  I tried to make the back look like cow print.

This is where the food was to go.  It was so crazy hot outside, we decided to bring it in.

We had chocolate covered strawberries.
This is Landrie with her Maw Maw. Both are in their Fancy Nancy outfits!

Judson the sheriff had to take a break from all the action.  I tried to make him an outfit to match his sister's a little.

This is Fancy Mommy and Fancy Landrie!

We had a great time but I will see you next year at Chuckee Cheese!
