The Escapades of Elton our Elf on the Shelf!

Elton is our Elf on the Shelf!  We have ALL been having fun with him this year:-)  Check out some of the fun things he has done.

The first day he showed up, he "rolled" our house with a red streamer.  He was perched in our Gingerbread tree.  We had our "North Pole Breakfast" that morning.  We had some cute powdered donut snowmen....an idea I took from pinterest.

On another morning, we had cinowman rolls:-)

Elton brought us these cute pjs that he picked up at Gymboree.  He also got into my chocolate stash!!!!
Elton got very dirty eating all that chocolate, so he had to take a bath!

Elton decided to help the Wise Men as they "travel afar" to get to the manger!

Elton now flying the Wise Men so they can see Baby Jesus!
Elton did fly up to a safer place after he got his picture taken:-)

Elton living up to his name.  He did look for some gold glasses, maybe tomorrow!

The "On Duty" Elf on the Shelf on a shirt in a pocket!

How many more prepositions could I get in that title!!!!

Elton is our Elf on a Shelf!  I decided to make my daughter a pocket elf shirt so Elton could go with her when she was not a home.  She wore Elton to the airport and he really did help!  It also helped to explain how Elton showed up in Orlando:-)

I put "On Duty" in the circle where the initial usually goes.  I could put another saying there.  I also put Elton's name on the hat.

This is the outfit.  Bow Girl made the bow.  Her link is at the bottom of this blog.  My daughter also really enjoyed putting special trinkets in the pocket.  A little Tinkerbell had a warm pocket and a great view for a while:-)

Elf feet! These are the feet that get it done for Christmas!

I think the elf feet are sooo cute!  We all know that Momma's have to run around and do a lot of creative foot work around Christmas.  That is why this applique is so fitting for a Mom!

This family all used the same fabric but in different appliques.  I thought this mom had such a great idea! I always enjoy working with Shelley.  She inspires me:-)

Elf on the Shelf and in a pocket!

This design reminds me of the "Elf on the Shelf" book!  I love that elf!  We hide him everywhere!  Now you can tell your kiddo that your special elf is going to go everywhere with your child and will see everything so he can report back to Santa.  This elf is hiding in a clever pocket!  I can't wait to do one of these for my little girl!   I think I even have a girl elf.  I can't remember our elf's name, but when I figure it out, I may monogram it on the elf's hat!
If you have an Elf on the Shelf....please let me know some fun things or hiding places you have put your elf!  We are always looking for fun places to put him!

The pen just shows you that it is a pocket.  Also, my little girl loves pockets.   I also used glow in the dark fabric for the white part of this shirt like I did in the ballet shoe design.  Got to love glow in the dark:-0   This elf shirt is $25.
